MCAS Tustin. Built in 1942, the largest wooden structure in the world, contains 296,000 square feet of open space. Doors are 120 feet high, the door frames and floor are the only cement parts. Big enough to house 77 basketball courts or the Eiffel tower on its side. The north/south hangar will soon be torn down to make way for shopping malls & houses.
